Meet Your Photographer

Photography has been part of my life for more than three decades. I first fell in love with the medium in a high school black-and-white darkroom, where I learned that great photography begins with understanding light. Those early years taught me the craft of exposure, printmaking, and the discipline of seeing—not just recording—what was in front of the camera.

That passion led me to Parsons School of Design in New York City, where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. My education was grounded in traditional photographic techniques, including the Zone System, and shaped by accomplished photographers and educators who challenged me to think critically about composition, light, and visual storytelling. I later worked with editorial and portrait photographers in New York and completed internships at Interview and Stuff magazines, experiences that broadened my understanding of photography as both an art form and a means of communication.

For the next eighteen years, my career took an unexpected turn into the motion picture industry. As a Safety Manager, I worked on productions for NBCUniversal, Sony, HBO, Netflix, Spyglass, Fifth Season, and Amazon MGM. Film production demands preparation, precision, collaboration, and the ability to deliver exceptional work under pressure—qualities that continue to shape the way I approach every assignment today.

Returning to photography felt less like changing careers and more like returning home.

Today, from my home in Eureka, Montana, I create photography for luxury real estate, commercial properties, hospitality businesses, architects, builders, designers, and vacation rentals throughout Northwest Montana. As an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot, I integrate professional aerial imagery to provide clients with a complete visual perspective of their properties.

Whether I’m photographing a mountain retreat overlooking Lake Koocanusa, a boutique lodge, a custom-built home, or a commercial space, my approach remains the same. I believe exceptional photography reveals more than architecture alone—it captures craftsmanship, atmosphere, and the unique relationship between a structure and the landscape it inhabits. My goal is to create images that are technically refined, visually engaging, and authentic to the character of each place.

The landscapes of Northwest Montana deserve to be photographed with intention, and every project is an opportunity to tell that story through light, composition, and a deep respect for the places people build, live, and welcome others.
